We are excited to boost the important and inspirational work the Trans Asylum Seeker Support Network is doing! Here is their linktree.

The Trans Asylum Seeker Support Network recently launched a monthly supporter campaign! This is super exciting because it gives those of us in community with various forms of privilege (class privilege, cis privilege, white privilege, U.S. citizenship privilege) an opportunity to redistribute some of the $$ ways in which these privileges play out, at whatever scale that works for us!
This money goes directly to freeing as many trans and gender non-conforming people from immigrant detention as possible and providing them with material resources, such as food, clothing, phones, hormones, healthcare, housing, and other necessities.
Why commit now?
Donations are particularly urgent right now as TASSN is currently supporting 26 trans and genderqueer asylum seekers. One of the most pressing needs they have is to secure safe, stable housing for all asylum seekers in their network. Recently, a number of trans asylum seekers' housing fell through or didn't work out due to abusive dynamics from sponsors. In Western Mass, the basic human right of housing is being stripped from them, after having been through so much injustice and state violence prior to living here. For these reasons and many more, this fundraising is becoming more urgent as they support many people in relocating and finding stable housing. TASSN need to be raising $15,000 a month to pay for the rent and expenses for all of their compxs in the network - currently they have $3,000 a month coming in, so now is an important moment to contribute! WMSURJ is committed to finding 50-100 new monthly donors for TASSN! We hope you take advantadge of this opportunity to support important and exciting work.

asylum seeker: a person who has left a country as a refugee and is seeking legal protection while living in another.
compx: "short for compañerx, is Spanish for "comrade," and is the term TASSN use to refer to the asylum seekers in the Network."
